to software corporation Tata Group on Friday said it has registered with into a
contract with Singapore Airlines to begin a full-service provider in India.
Eighteen
years after its unsuccessful effort, Tata group today registered with hands
again with Singapore Airlines to begin a new full-service air travel in India. The
two events have finalized a Memorandum of Knowledge for the air travel, which
will be centered in New Delhi and function under the full-service design under
which it will own 51 % share in the suggested service provider. The rest will
be with Singapore Airlines.
The
group, declared a collaboration with Malaysia's Airline for a low-cost service
provider in India, said it has used for acceptance from the Foreign Investment
Marketing Panel (FIPB) to set up the new air travel which will be centered here
in the Investment.
The
initial Panel of the new service provider will have three members, two selected
by Tata Sons and one selected by Singapore Airlines. The Chairperson will be
Prasad Menon, selected by Tata Sons.
