7 lakh tickets at low prices from Jet Airways

Seeking to fly for work or leisure? Now is the perfect time. The Indian Airlines industry is cutting on prices of airfares like never before. The lean travel season which will last till early October is a profitable time for air passengers. To fill up seats and to function airlines have launched a price reduction war on domestic flying.

Recently, Jet Airways put on sale of a massive 7 Lakh domestic travel seat with fares starting at Rs 1,600 onwards. The sale lasts till the next Friday, the end of the weekdays with travels to start from the day after. Jet Airways presents cheap airline tickets in three slabs of  Rs 1,600 onwards for short slabs; Rs 2,600 onwards  for medium and Rs 3,600 onwards for long domestic sectors.

Domestic Airfares discounts offer continues with IndiGo recently coming out with low all-inclusive 90-day advance fares starting at Rs 2,000 onwards (for short sectors like Delhi-Lucknow) to Rs 4,000 for long sectors like Delhi-Chennai.

Air India, SpiceJet and GoAir major names in the Indian domestic airline sector are also offering discounted low fares to overcome the lean season blues.

Following Jet's mega sale of discounted airfares, other airlines are also expected to join the discount airfare war and offer unbelievable prices. So as airlines prepare for a deep-in-red July-September quarter, passengers get the last laugh of amazing fares by booking early to fly cheap in the otherwise expensive travel season from October.
